My alternate Earth story, Devil's Choice, is sold to Triskelion Publishing! Of course, due to the number of books out with Devil in the title, we had to come up with a new one. So DC is now Altered Destiny!
Hip Hip Hooray!

Wally is gone.
My poor, sweet little betta died. He was fine this morning but I found him dead at the bottom of his bowl when I got home. He lived almost three years swimming in his vase, watching us as we went about our daily lives. Occasionally, I'd take him to different places around the house so he could see something different.
He would always come close to the glass when I came to give him his food or just to talk to him. For a fish, he was very affectionate. And he truly seemed to enjoy having his vase set in a sunbeam. His fins would come up and he'd swim back and forth as if playing with the beam of light. It never lasted long enough. Neither did he.
I'm going to miss him.

Winter Rose Contest Results
I see I forgot to post that on Sunday evening I was notified that RIDER won the paranormal category in the Winter Rose contest! Yea, RIDER!!!
Gack...this is pitiful.
I saw this bit of 'news' from the latest issue of Bizarre News. Maybe we ought to keep our kids locked in a soft, padded room or confined to a bubble like those unfortunate children who have no immunity to disease. I mean...really, how did all the generations before us survive without all these laws to protect us?
PORTLAND, Ore - The days of jumping from swings and playing
games on the playground may soon be over for today's child-
ren, thanks to our culture of fear and injury litigation.
Some school districts have already gone as far as to ban the
game of tag and even have signs that read "no running on the
playground." Safety advocates believe there is real danger
on the playground and are working to eliminate swing sets
from elementary schools playgrounds. They've already
convinced Portland Public Schools to get rid of swings,
merry go rounds, tube slides, track rides, arch climbers,
and teeter totters. These over the top safety cautions are
popping up all over the place. In Salem, an elementary
education director says "we don't encourage the game of tag
because it encourages fights."

Too busy!
I've been crammed with extra work both here and at the day job. What's wrong with that picture? LOL
Anyway, I just wanted to remind everyone that my post is up on the Triskelion Authors Blog for May 1. It's somewhat of a short story with Eric of HEARTSTONE, Devyn of DEVIL'S CHOICE and Trace of RIDER taking a brief respite from their heroic battles.
Enjoy!
